Services
A deliberately short list
We do four things, and we keep the list short on purpose.
Tax Planning
Returns record decisions you already made
We would rather be in the room for the decisions. Planning work happens in the third and fourth quarter, when a choice can still change the outcome.
For businesses
Entity selection and restructuring, reasonable compensation, fixed asset and depreciation strategy, accountable plans, retirement plan design.
For individuals
Quarterly projections and safe harbors, equity compensation, charitable timing, retirement distribution sequencing, residency planning.
Tax Preparation
Filed on time, reviewed by a partner
Federal, state, and local returns for individuals and closely held entities. Every return that leaves this office has been read by a partner, and we tell you what changed and why.
- Individuals
Form 1040 with rentals, K-1s, equity compensation, and multi-state filings. - Partnerships & LLCs
Form 1065, capital account maintenance, and K-1s that arrive before the deadline. - S corporations
Form 1120-S, basis tracking, and reasonable compensation support. - C corporations
Form 1120, along with the owner return read beside it.
Bookkeeping
Books kept by the people who will file the return
Most bookkeeping problems only surface in March, when they are expensive. Keeping the books in the same office that prepares the return means they surface in the month they happen.
Monthly close
Bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts reconciled and closed on a set date each month.
Reporting you can use
A monthly package with commentary, not a raw profit-and-loss export.
Software
QuickBooks Online setup, cleanup, and the app stack around it.
Compliance oversight
Sales tax filings reviewed before they go out, not after a notice arrives; payroll referred to a trusted outside provider.
Cost Segregation
Our most specialized service
Detailed studies for property owners, coordinated by the same firm that prepares the return the deduction lands on. New acquisitions, ground-up construction, renovations, and retroactive studies on property you have owned for years.
5 & 7 year
§1245 personal property: finishes, fixtures, dedicated systems.
15 year
Land improvements: paving, site lighting, landscaping.
Retroactive
Form 3115 and a §481(a) catch-up, with no amended returns.
Audit-ready
Documented to the IRS Audit Techniques Guide, with audit support included.
Industries
Where we spend most of our time
Individuals & families
From a simple W-2 and brokerage return to the personal return that sits beside a business one.

Owner compensation, entity structure, and cash-basis timing.
Construction & trades
Job costing, equipment planning, and work-in-progress reporting.
Restaurants & retail
