About Us
A local firm, on purpose
Three partners who built this firm to serve our own community well, make the client experience genuinely easy, and help improve the profession along the way.
Our Story
Founded in 2026 by three partners who call this community home.
Weston and Austin have known each other since high school, playing on the same basketball team years before either of them had chosen a degree. Zack and Austin go back even further, to age ten. All three of us grew up in Clarksville, built our careers here, and spent years working alongside each other before deciding, mutually, to build something of our own.
Bell, Spoonamore & Wendt, PLLC started in 2026 at Zack’s kitchen table, before we moved into the office where you will find us today. The idea was simple: a firm that actually serves Clarksville and the businesses that keep this county moving, run by three partners already rooted in that community.
That is still the whole model. Not a branch office of somewhere else, but three partners who know their clients by name and put the same care into a family’s return that they put into a company’s books. A local firm, on purpose, because we are from here, and we intend to stay.
What We Stand For
Four commitments we can be held to
Objectivity
We decline engagements where a conflict would compromise our judgment, and we tell you when we disagree with you. The answer you get is the answer, not the convenient one.
Confidentiality
Your information is protected under professional standards, encrypted in transit and at rest, and never shared without your written authorization.
Competence
We exceed the continuing education our licenses require, and we say so plainly when a matter belongs with a specialist.
Responsiveness
Calls and emails answered within one business day, year-round, including the weeks when everyone else has gone quiet.
Leadership

Every partner carries their own clients. You will always know which one is yours.
